Move for What Matters – Supporting Hospice Palliative Care in Northumberland County
Community Care Northumberland (CCN) is pleased to announce it will be hosting “Move for What Matters.” Funds raised at this walk support visiting Hospice Palliative Care programs throughout Northumberland County.
CCN’s visiting Hospice Palliative Care program supports clients in living well until they die. Its trained volunteers focus on dignity and individual needs as they provide compassionate care and support to clients and their families. The visiting program allows them to support clients in a variety of locations, providing continuity if a client moves from place to place. This support program is offered at no cost to clients or their families.
CCN needs pledges and participation in its “Move for What Matters” walk to help ensure that this continues.
To register as a participant or to make a pledge you can:

“Move for What Matters is much more than just a fundraiser,” said Trish Baird, Executive Director - CCN. “This event also raises awareness that visiting Hospice Palliative Care programs are available to all residents of Northumberland County and together we can all make a difference in the lives of those who are living with a life-limiting illness and those affected by it.”
