Service Description:
|
Support services for individuals learning to cope with grief after the death of a loved one.
Peer support groups facilitated by trained volunteers who have experienced the same loss. Groups include: Loss of Spouse, Loss of Child, Loss of Baby (miscarriage/stillbirth/infant under the age of 1yr), Loss of Parent/Sibling/Friend, and Loss by Suicide
- Parent/Youth Closed Groups for children ages 7 to 9 years * 10 to 12 years, as well as groups for teens. All programs overseen by a professional consultant and professional advisory committee
- Telephone support
- Educational Outreach program provided for the community
- Grief and Peer Support Training for our volunteers and for other service providers and professionals in the community

Support & Share Night Drop-in: Ongoing first Tuesday of each month from 7 pm-9 pm, 2400 Alta Vista Dr, St. Timothy's Presbyterian Church, no registration required
Support & Share Day Drop-in: Ongoing weekly Thursdays from 12 noon-1:30 pm, Suite 303, 211 Bronson Ave, Bronson Center, no registration required
10 week Support Groups: Fall, Winter and Spring (registration required)
