Service Description: Support for older adults, and adults with disabilities * helps people remain independent in their own homes for as long as possible * culturally appropriate services for Aboriginals

Foot care: basic and advanced foot care in the client's home * foot care includes care of corns, calluses, fungal nails, and filing and trimming of nails

Friendly visiting: regular volunteer visits to older adults and people with disabilities who live alone, to provide companionship

Homemaking and home maintenance: assistance with daily chores such as laundry, light housekeeping, pet care, errands, shopping, and meal preparation * assistance with minor home maintenance and repairs

In-home nursing: in-home, complex care, shift or visiting nursing care

In-home personal support: supports for the activities of daily living, including personal care, meal preparation, laundry, and light housekeeping

Meal delivery: hot meals delivered * special diet types available

Respite: temporary relief for caregivers caring for people with complex medical conditions * may include homemaking, some personal care, light housekeeping, attendant care, and monitoring

Telephone reassurance: regular phone calls to older adults and people with disabilities who live alone, to check on their health and safety

Transportation: non-emergency transportation to local and long-distance medical appointments
