Service Description: Assists developmentally challenged children and adults who have an intellectual disability in the Centre/North Frontenac area * services are designed on an idividualized basis and include:
    • assistance with independent living skills and community integration
    • life skills training
    • supported community employment opportunities
    • job coaching
    • social, recreational and leisure activities
    • Seniors Initiative Program - support to elderly parents who are caregivers to developmentally challenged family members
 
Supported Independent Living - Children's Services - Support to Seniors who are caregivers to developmentally challenged family members * Passport fee for service * vocational services
 
Vocational Services - Assistance and training to individuals who are developmentally challenged and wanting to find employment

Fees: There are no direct fees for service except for transportation which is dependent on the ability to pay
Application: Call for initial intake then Developmental Services Ontario will call to arrange a formal review process
Languages: English ; French
Language Note: French reception, programs, and publications offered * French interpretation available upon request
