Service Description: Provides a broad range of rehabilitation services including Occupational Therapy, Dietetics, Physiotherapy, Speech-Language Pathology and Social Work * services are available in the home, school, workplace and on site at our clinic located in the Ramada Inn * working together to support individuals to reach their potential
Assistive Devices Program Authorized Assessor - Assistive Device Program Authorized Assessor
Home Visiting Registered Dietitians - Registered Dietitians provide nutritional assessments and counselling for individuals, families, caregivers and groups * work with clients in the areas of general nutrition, therapeutic diets, disease prevention and health promotion
Physiotherapy Clinic - Community physiotherapy clinic * health professionals assess and treat conditions that affect the muscles, nerves, and bones that may be caused by work or sports or motor vehicle collision injuries, chronic conditions, or to recover after an operation (hip and knee surgery)
Social Work - Quinte and District Rehabilitation provides Social Work service to assist clients in coping with illness, life adjustments, marital/family dynamics or long term planning * counselling is available in the community setting or at our clinic space located in the Ramada Inn
Speech Language Pathology - Speech Language Pathologists provide comprehensive assessments, counselling and treatment programs for adults, pre-school and school-aged children * services are available in the School setting, as well as through our Clinic Services located at the Ramada Inn * work with clients in the areas of speech, voice, expressive and receptive language, fluency (such as stuttering), swallowing difficulties, augmentative and alternative communication
Visiting Occupational Therapy - Visiting occupational therapy services to enable clients to safely participate in daily activities of self-care, work and leisure * services may include home safety assessments, mobility prescriptions trough the Assistive Devices Program and worksite ergonomic assessments * the children's program assists children in the school and clinic setting with special needs
