Our community
Belleville is located on the beautiful Bay of Quinte of Lake Ontario in southeastern Ontario. The region offers a superb lifestyle, low cost of living, and excellent schools making the Quinte region a great place to live and work.

Belleville includes picturesque waterfront with affordable homes set in safe communities; quality local theatre, shopping and restaurants; and a growing economy for job seekers in and outside of health services.

Because of Belleville’s size, it offers all of the amenities of larger urban centers with the lifestyle advantages of rural living.

Whether you are taking in a Belleville Bulls hockey game, enjoying the exciting sights and sounds of Belleville’s Waterfront Festival, or tasting maple taffy on snow at Winterfest, there are community events happening all year long. Prince Edward County with its picturesque wineries and quaint towns is just across the bay. Sandbanks and Presqu’ile beaches are often rated among Canada’s top ten beaches.
The Friendly City offers top quality golfing at a variety of courses for all skill levels. The Bay of Quinte and Moira River attract world-class anglers all year long. Sailing, boating, canoeing and kayaking provide the perfect getaway in the summer. For the nature lover, there are miles of hiking and cycling trails within the city.
