Service Description:

Respiratory Therapy services include both acute inpatient support and outpatient diagnostic and education clinics
Services Offered:
- Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) for asthma, COPD, pulmonary fibrosis
- COPD and chronic lung disease education
- Smoking cessation support for inpatients
- Inhaler teaching and breathing technique coaching
- BREATHE Program: COPD action planning and post-discharge follow-up
- Referrals to community partners like Hospice L&A for emotional support

Fees are covered by the Ministry of Health except for Out of Country patients, or products not covered by OHIP.
