Service Description: Community-based program providing speech-language assessment and intervention * consultations

Public education about facilitating communication * augmentative communications systems may be used for some clients * regular parent education groups to discuss and practice language facilitation techniques * interviews can be arranged at accessible locations * autism services

Application: Referrals can be made by: parents, caregivers, physicians, ECE staff, or other professionals * preschool referrals: call Language Express at 1-888-503-8885 or 613-283-2742 * for adults with developmental delay, call the office directly
Eligibility / Target Population: Residents of Lanark County, preschool clients until eligibility for senior kindergarten, with speech-language difficulties * residents of Lanark County, 18 years and older, with developmental delay and not receiving speech/language intervention through other services
